Romantic Date Night- Restaurant Week New York

NYC restaurant week has arrived. This means discount prices on amazing food at romantic restaurants with that special someone. There are deals at 386 participating restaurants through August 17th. Three-course dinners run $42, so go check out that place you have been dying to go.  Here are some of the best of the best participating restaurants this year.

Dining Room at Augustine
  • Augustine: Keith McNally’s most recent venture in the historic Beekman Hotel is a brilliant Parisian-looking space covered in golden lights. In the Financial District, this restaurant serves as a perfect lunch date spot where you can order steak frites, tuna nicoise, and the Augustine burger. What’s even cooler about this place is that the menu changes every week so you never know what to expect.
Steak Salad at Buttermilk Channel
  • Buttermilk Channel: This Brooklyn neighborhood restaurant will make you feel like you have been transported to a cute little farmhouse. However, it still has wild levels of chic and sophistication. Be sure to order the fan favorite fried chicken and cheddar waffles plus a mini pecan pie sundae to end the night on a sweet note.
Dessert at Hearth
  • Hearth: This grown-up East Village restaurant serving gnocchi, meatballs, and Pork Milanese is not only well known for its amazing dishes, but also its ability to minimize oxidized fats, artificial sweeteners, and chemical pesticides. A common favorite among its customers are the sourdough bruschetta, the grass-fed beef and the ricotta meatballs. This is definitely a trendy choice for a date with a foodie who will surely appreciate this adventurous food while also staying true to pure ingredients.
