Every year around Memorial Day, hundreds of artists from New York and around the world, gravitate to to Washington Square Park to showcase their latest creations. The exhibit goes from University Place at 13th Street to the West 3rd Street and you can immerse yourself in a day full of craft, color and unique creations.
- YES Memorial Day BBQ + Party. At this party you want to throw on your most patriotic outfit and get ready to have a ton of fun. Here, hot dogs and patties are are doled out all day, partiers dance to house beats, and the alcohol keeps coming.
- Little Neck Douglaston Memorial Day Parade. At this parade, you can honor fallen members of the United States Armed Forces. This is one of the cities largest Memorial Day Parade. Come cheer on local members of the military, veterans, Brownie troops, Boy scouts, as they march westward along Northern Boulevard in Queens from Great Neck to Douglaston.
